Radiohead’s new album nails it

I'm so glad Radiohead is telling the old-useless-broken business model of the recording industry to go !$#* themselves. They're asking fans to pay what they feel like their album is worth. Way to go Radiohead, hope Nine Inch Nails follows soon, and a whole slew of artists follow. iTunes can suck it, CDs can suck it, freedom will reign.

The 5th of November is coming soon... This year has gone by fast.

  1. Remember, remember the 5th of November
    The gunpowder treason and plot
I can think of no reason
    why the gunpowder treason
    Should ever be forgot.

  2. Hey Sam -

I enjoy reading your blog to see how you are doing and how you are growing. And I also get to keep tabs on Alayna, who not only comments, but has learned to swear it seems – at least about her cell phone. You need to update your bio, man. You aren’t in my class at Buckingham anymore, unless you’ve stolen Harry’s invisibility cloak. Glad to see that you are doing well. And I’m forwarding you Radiohead comments to Neil…he was in a Master Class w/Jason Moran (http://www.sfjazz.org/concerts/2007/fall/artists/JasonMoran.asp) yesterday at the Jazzschool in Berkeley (http://www.jazzschool.com/index.html). Unfortunately, Chris & I didn’t have enough time to try & get across the Bay to look you up. If your company is ever looking for some hot jazz for a party, let me know…I maybe can hook you up, relatively inexpensively. Andrew is now cooking at a place called Spruce – he’s just back from Bali – (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/10/14/CM9KSD3JJ.DTL&type=food). He’s just doing a stint as a line cook while he waits for another private gig to turn up. Save your money (it’s $$$$) and go maybe…

    Take care, man -

  3. One more thing…thanks for putting Blacktail Mtn on your snow report…maybe some rich guy will want to rent the cabin (it’s only 13.6 miles door to door. But you left off Big Mountain (http://www.bigmtn.com/). Hey, we need the pub!
